This article explains why you need to verify your account, when it's required, and how to complete the process. We've also included a helpful video guide for further assistance!
Why do I have to verify my account?
LeoVegas is certified and regulated by the MGA as a result, we are license bound to validate your identity at some point. Rest assured your documents are held on an encrypted secure server.
Essentially, we wish to secure your funds and want to be certain that we are paying out your winnings to yourself and nobody else. We also need to be sure that the deposits you have made to your account have come from legitimate sources. This is all to avoid certain situations – for example, if someone were to use your payment card on their gaming account without your permission or knowledge and then transferred the funds to their own bank account.
How do I verify my account?
When should I send in documents?
You will receive an email from LeoVegas asking you to submit a specific document to validate your customer details. It may happen that we need certain documents at different times and request individual documents several times, e.g. a new ID card to keep your account details up to date.
How do I upload my documents?
You can use our document upload feature in your account. Click on "My Profile" and then select "Account Verification". Make sure you have your documents ready before calling the upload function!
What type of documents do you require?
